The past five days, I've started working on the WarCraft III map/mod I've talked about a few posts back. I apparently haven't done this in ages. At least, not a big enough project. Well, finally, I managed to get version 0.02alpha kicked up on Battle.net and the results were more than pleasing (even though we didn't have full games). I've always liked making maps where it doesn't matter if you win or lose because you'll have fun either way. Maps like DotA and Tower Defense just plain bore me because it's the same monotony each and every time with very little random factor. Not only that, you often feel unsatisfied even if you win. Whenever I played Hero Arena (not made by me), I enjoyed the vast amounts of fun it had. And then, before I knew it, it disappeared off Battle.net. I'm hoping this map/mod I'm making will revive the lost Hero Arena days with a few minor improvements.

Aside from the map making, not much is going on in my life. I've been on good terms with Don again, started talking to Phoebe again, wasting money on Initial D, and going to classes. For the next few days, my family's coming up to Gainesville to kidnap me and take me to Jacksonville and Georgia for a "vacation." They told me that they're thinking about moving to Georgia with a huge lot of people. This involves my cousins' families, my grandparents, some family friends (all of which are Chinese), and hopefully get away from the economic lag in Florida. I've thought about it and it's probably for the better. Floridian lifestyle has always been boring down where I lived (the quiet city of Fort Lauderdale). I hardly meet anybody my age there anymore mainly because it's filling up with elderly. Who knows, maybe Georgia's probably more cut out for me.

The anime depression's also started to hit me hard. I seriously run through my days looking at anime-torrent sites for new material and very very very very very few of them interest me. Not only that, I saw the recent Ichigo 100% OVA and it just totally ruined my image of Ichigo 100%. There's seriously nothing good anymore. There was nothing good last season and it doesn't seem like it'll change this season. I'm probably going to end up resorting to the classic anime in order to get my fix. Manga, too, nothing's coming out. All the series I'm following are taking months to produce new volumes. What ever happened to one volume per month? I mean, I already knew Shounen Jump was late in producing manga, but Tokyopop never had this problem. That WarCraft manga I bought nearly half a year ago? Still hasn't came out with Volume 2. At this rate, I'm probably just going to stop buying manga altogether (which is a good thing for my budget).

My tooth has begun to ache every now and then due to the change in the temperature. It's seriously annoying because it happens at night and just always the nights I need the most sleep. Didn't happen last night at all when I was up programming the WarCraft III map all night long (okay, so I lied. I slept at 6...) but it happened a few nights ago when I decided to sleep early around 11:30-ish. I've told my parents that I want to get my fillings redone over the winter break. If that isn't an option, then I'm all up for getting these teeth pulled. After all, it's not worth getting pain each time the season changes. But then again, I guess there's more bodily problems as we get older... That much is inevitable.

The semester's coming to an end and everybody, it seems, is starting to struggle. It makes me feel somewhat bad because I'm honestly not having problems with my classes at all. I get on the bus and hear random conversations about which classes need to be dropped by x-said person. I sit down in class a few minutes before the class begins and I hear people behind me chattering about whether or not they should drop the current class. I've only dropped a single class before in my college run so far and at the rate the difficulty of these classes are going, it doesn't seem like I'll be having problems.

I also realized I have a lot of games that I bought recently and haven't played much at all. Radiata Stories, I'm still stuck at the one point where I'm doing nothing but "optional" (they're actually necessary) quests before I can progress in the game. Soul Calibur III, I've got nobody to play with (mainly because Kasey's waiting to play it with Erin first, who isn't planning on playing it yet). Harvest Moon, I haven't really played it much...just every now and then when I'm extremely bored (after all, it's a game about farming). Worst part about this is I'm tempted to get other games, too (like Phoenix Wright), which I know I won't be playing much after getting them.

And finally, I haven't updated Pockethouse much. I'll probably start flooding it with updates on WarCraft Smash (the map I've been working on). Not sure how the visitors will respond, but I don't care since I've already established that it's going to be a site where I put whatever the hell I want on it.

My friend [info]therani made an AMV based on the fansub of something that'll be called "Hare+Guu" when it hits the States. It looks pretty interesting, maybe you should give it a try.

Played Dargon quest 8 yet? Been playing almost nonstop since the weekend and haven't made it very far yet...

And I cry, for I do not own Warcraft 3...*sigh*
